Modern is a brutally fast format in which this deck would not fit in. I recommend either moving this to casual or dropping {Ajani Goldmane} and moving this to standard.
Quote from: Tbegin on February 03, 2014, 05:05:58 PMTo have it moved, just pm a mod like Gorzo. There's nothing wrong with the deck, it's just not suited to the modern format.
Point taken. Will do. I just love his effect.

If you are interested in life gain and a good introduction to modern, you might want to try Soul Sisters or BW Martyr Proc.
Quote from: DylanW18 on February 03, 2014, 10:47:23 PMThough my norin deck is slightly different, it's a version of soul sisters and it holds it's ground pretty well. So for, it's only difficult matchups are jund and splinter twins and then you sideboard.
Is it viable in modern as a competitive deck?
Quote from: DylanW18 on February 03, 2014, 10:47:23 PMIt's semi-competitive FNM level. I'd never take it to a grand prix, but it's fine for local events.

Quote from: ConanEdo on February 03, 2014, 11:21:01 PMWhile it can do well, it still only makes up 1% of the top 8's in the last 2 months, and hasn't made top 8 in the past 2 weeks.Quote from: abstractApathist on February 03, 2014, 11:09:08 PMMartyr Proc can make waves, look at CML's list.Quote from: DylanW18 on February 03, 2014, 10:47:23 PMIt's semi-competitive FNM level.
