I'd play, except my EDH deck is in use for another wall game. If I have time to put the decklist online tonight, I'll play, but if not, someone else is welcome to play instead. My commander will be {Derevi, Empyrial Tactician}. Before you tell me she just got banned for 1v1, I have exactly 1 infinite combo in this deck, which requires 4+ cards. This is my first EDH deck too, so I don't think it's too unfair.

We are going to install a time limit of, a day? If we wait on you for a day, you skip your turn (draw, pay any easily payable needed upkeep, pass). If it's for blocks or responses, we will assume none. Sound fair? Hopfully it won't be an issue.
Can we make it 2 days? I know people don't like to wait but some people (like me) are very busy. I am positive I will be able to play probably every day and definitely every other day, but I think 2 days would be better. Maybe if a person consistently takes 2 days it becomes 1 day?

I think that if I attack someone at noon Monday, they should be able to respond by noon Tuesday, yeah?
Maybe for attacks 1 day but for turn 2 days? Idk, I just know that sometimes I have a ton more work than other days and I wouldn't want to lose a whole game because I didn't have time one day to take 1 turn. Maybe it's an exaggeration, but it could happen....
question: how competitive do you want this to be? I finally got around to goldfishing the mikaeus deck twice, first time it went infinite turn 6, second time turn 5 :/

I strongly prefer no infinities. I cut my infinite combo from slivers and I have only one infinite in my other three put together, and I just limit to three-five activations per turn if I ever get it going.

Yeah, I'm not running my Oloro because of infinities
i have 1 infinite in my derevi deck, which requires 3 cards and 4+ to actually do anything. before anyone tells me derevi got banned in 1v1 and is too good, I can post my decklist and show how bad my deck is :)

Also, I suggest sticking this at the end of everyone's turns with the next person to go arrowed, or just saying "___, your turn" because we're going to forget the turn order.

That would work. I personally like the list/arrow idea. what will we do about commander damage? I would almost suggest ignoring it to make things 5x simpler, but then everything would take forever....
Still, 5 peoples' commander damage will be hard to track. Unless there is some way I don't know of? I'm new to EDH...

If no one is running lifegain, it would be so much easier without commander damage. but whatever, as long as someone has a way to keep track, I'm fine with it.
I say track your own...like if I hit someone I'll track how much and tell them when I attack with comander how much they already have. That way only people messing with it have to remember.
Hey, if its ok I'm going to switch decks. Kemba is more designed for 2-3 player games. It's just too fragile.

I just today I drafted up a {zaedruu the great heart} deck, and since it only works in multiplayer, I'm gonna run that.
Its 3/4 the out of the box comander deck.

That's fine. I really would like to stick to a 24 hour or skip rule, but beyond that I'm very ubderstand ing. I often can't play for 12 hours at a time.
Oh, and the 24 hour rule I think should change on weekends, or if you say ahead of time that you will be late
Maybe ignore the 24 hr rules this weekend for prerelease? :)
Well, that's what I mean by weekends not having a strict 24 hour rule...but seriously, no offense at all, but if you can't post at least every 24 hours as the norm (faster is always better), play by post isn't going to work well.
