Title: Hexproof Creatures
Post by: sparkz2992 on January 28, 2014, 10:52:33 AM
When you play a creature it's counted as a spell so if that creature has a trigger ability does it apply to the hexproof? (Example: 4/2 hexproof unblockable and a 1/1 elvish mystic, enemy swings a 6/6 with the ability "when ever this creature deals damage, deal 6 damage to all enemies creatures" would it affect the hexproof with the 6 damage ability?

I think he's asking "do abilities bypass hexproof?"

The answer is that if the abilities target, they do not- hexproof applies to everything targeting the creature that isn't controlled by you. The example you gave, as Testest mentioned, doesn't target, however.
