{humility}
{orim's prayer}
lol.
Instead of Humility you could go with {Godhead of Awe}
{dry spell} kills all the creatures
Instead of Dry spell there's always {Elecktrickery}
Kind of funny with {Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite}

Who would be a 1/1 with no abilities.
{caltrops}, {animate artifact}, and {venemous fangs} or {basilisk collar} (works better, as you have life gain)
This way you don't lose any of your creature abilities

Isn't {marrow shards} strictly better than {rain of blades}?
Not strictly better, Situationally better.

Not sure how? They are the exact same card besides the Phyrexian mana cost. So if you're tapped out, {Marrow Shards} can still work. {Rain of Blades} could not.
It all depends on life total there. I never say strictly unless no matter what its better. That right there is why I say situationally better

But you could just pay the {W} instead of paying two life. If you're tapped out and at 2 life, neither could work. But if you have the mana open, they act the same. So it just protects you when you're tapped out
Situational though. Enough said

Dude. They are the exact same card. An instant that does the same thing. The only difference is one gives you a little more wriggle room. You can still cast {Marrow Shards} for one white mana and not pay the two life just like with {Rain of Blades}. So if you don't want to pay the two life then Marrow Shards is the same card as Rain of Blades. However you can also cast it for the phyrexian mana, which gives you more options.
You just proved my point that marrow shards is not always better than rain of blades...

This.
2 choices are strictly better than 1.

How? You keep saying situational, but in what situation is it worse than Rain of Blades?
Sorry guys.
Why the apology? :p
I just want to know your view of why

IMO it's strictly better. It is the exact same card with an alternative casting cost, making it more flexible, forming to more situations. No matter what, that card is better.
Maybe ask yourself this question: which one would you prefer to main deck?
Rain of blades because I have a playset of foils

haha okay but disregarding aesthetic value. Get my point?
Yes
