Title: Sliver recursion?
Post by: Vileo on January 22, 2014, 02:08:04 AM
So, I made a Sliver EDH deck on MtGO. I spent a grand total of 5 tickets to make it, so it's not like it's super crazy, although a few of my friends made some sick donations to the list (Most notably a foil promo {Sliver Queen}).

Is there any really good way to recur slivers? I know {Eternal Witness}, {Living End}, etc... But I want good, one-sided mass recursion. Is there anything that I can stuff in my {Sliver Overlord} deck like that? I'd prefer it to be decently cheap as well. I haven't got a lot of money.

Also, if anyone is wondering how my mana base is so cheap, one word... Guildgates.

I have Sedge, Clot, and Hibernation Slivers. Patriarch's Bidding is interesting, if not a little pricy. May end up having to invest in that.

Also, can anyone remind me the name of the card that makes all cards in your library have a certain creature type? It's an artifact.

Also  {Distant Melody} is a cool draw mechanic

I think {conspiracy} is what I what thinking of. Not super-useful.

You've already got {hivestone},  so just make sure you have a {sliver overlord}, {hearthstone} or {training ground} &  {Mistform Sliver}

Take their creatures away :)

Bidding is the bees knees, as meantioned above, my list is somewhere in the commander forum. It's a little slow but can be very useful for grabbing an enchantment + your four best slivers:  {All Suns' Dawn}

 {Time Reversal} has been surprisingly useful for my sliver deck. It usually allows me to combo out with  {Primal Surge} soon after.

{Patriarch's Bidding} is pretty much one-sided in a tribal deck.

this doesn't work. With {Amoeboid Changeling} or {Unnatural Selection} it works though. I have the changeling since it's just that + Overlord. Another possibility is just to jam an {Elixir of Immortality} so I can shuffle up and tutor them again. Seem good?
