Why {pain seer}? Not sure i'd want to pay up to 5 life for a card. If you kept the whip or had other lifelink options it wouldn't hurt.

Too many cards. I'd cut:
4 {Pain Seer} He'll just end up killing you
4 {Fate Unraveler}. Just not so great
4 {Aqueous Form} lackluster
4 {Hidden Strings} ^^
4 {Agent of Fates} kinda just a meh card.
3 {Lifebane Zombie}s to SB
4 Garys is probably too many.

Pretty high curve for aggro. The four drums don't really make up for it. I'd say more lands and more {Jace, Architect of Thought}.

I'd take {Agent of the Fates} out unless you plan on building a Heroic deck with lots of trigger cards. Yes he has Deathtouch, but you've got too much going on here for him.

That frees up space to also take out a few {Aqueous Form}s and {Hidden Strings} to make room for other creatures with more reach.

It's hard to separate cards you really like from a deck that doesn't gel with them as well as other cards sometimes :\ I definitely know the feeling.

But those are the three cards I'd cut for sure.

This looks like something I don't want my opponent to play...

you haven't downloaded the new database. two of the cards are from born of the gods. {dark betrayal} is just a good card to easily kill deso demons and {nighthveil specters}.

edit: you say you'd rather wait to use {hero's downfall}. its not like {dark betrayal} is good because you can cast it on turn 1. its good because you can play it in addition to {hero's downfall}. say you don't draw downfall, or they just have a lot of stuff you want to kill, either way, black removal is good and more is better.
