Title: Glimpse the sun god + Heliod
Post by: Bop on January 21, 2014, 02:35:26 PM
If I have Heliod out and I attack with various vigilant heroic creatures, if I cast the new {Glimpse the sun god} targeting them to trigger heroic and tapping them in the declare blockers step... Will they still be attacking or will they be removed from combat by being tapped?

I should probably just stick {brave the elements}

Idk know the first answer however Brave the elements doesn't trigger heroic (but it's a must in a white deck)

As long as they've been declared as attackers, yeah, you can tap them with Glimpse of the Sun God or {Gridlock}. They remain attacking.

You can even do this after declaring attackers, but before blockers are declared, tapping your heroic guys for buffs and tapping their blockers down so they can't block at the same time. Assuming, of course, you pay enough for X to target them all.
