I roll 11. :)
I'm down for a game anytime! Standard if you don't mind...oh, Tier 1 or not?
Rolled a 9
Well I'm brewing a deck to try to be their one on a budget, so bring your tier one or one-minus. Expect to dominate me. ;). Your up
You won the roll right?
Oh sorry. I misread your roll.
Plains. {favored hoplites}. Pass.
20/6
Draw
{Temple of Abandon} and bottom the card.
Pass
20/7
Draw. Swamp. Swing for one. Pass.
Draw
Forest
{Burning-Tree Emissary} x2 into {Sylvan Caryatid}.
Pass
19/4
Nice start. :).
Draw. Swamp. {gift of orzhov a}. Trigger heroic. Swing for 3 lifelink in the air. Pass.
23/4
Draw
Play {Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx}, tap my lands to activate it to float 5 {G}, then tap the Caryatid for a {R}, go down to two green floating for a {Xenagos, the Reveler} and then use the last two to play a {Voyaging Satyr}. +1 on Xeno to make 4 Green and play a Scooze leaving two floating.
Attack with the Emissaries for 4.
Pass
16/1 - Xenagos at 4, Devotion to {G} is 8
I take the four.
Wow! Is that pretty much a standard draw for you, or your perfect opening?
Draw. Frown. Slap another gift of orzhov a on the hoplites (double flying, double lifelink, neither works. What a waste). Attack for five lifelink in the air.
Pass. 28/4
Take from the Hoplite and go to 11
Draw
Play mountain, tap it and the forest to activate Nykthos for 8 {G}, use the Voyaging Satyr to untap it and use two from the 8 to activate Nykthos again and go to 14 {G} floating. Play and monstrous {Arbor Colossus} and target the Hoplite. 0 on Xenagos to make a token. Use one of the green from Nykthos to exile the Hoplite and gain one then attack with the Emissaries, the Scooze and the Satyr from Xeno for 9. Also you took four from the Emissaries, so you would be at 24 at the end of your turn right?
Pass
12/0 - Xenagos at 4, Devotion to {G} at 11
And in answer to your question this is how it usually plays, generally there isn't two Emissaries and if there's not a Xeno there's probably a Domri or a Garruk.
Draw. Pass. Scoop. Lol. Hands full of cards with WW. Game two?
Plains. Pass.
20/6
I'll try this hand.
Draw
Ouch for {Stomping Ground} and play an {Elvish Mystic}
Pass
18/6
Draw. Godless shrine untapped. {phalanx leader}. Pass.
18/5
Draw
Forest, tap all including the Mystic for another Mystic and a Voyaging Satyr
Pass
18/4
Draw. Swamp. {agent of the fates}. Pass.
18/4
Draw
Mountain, tap all for a {Kalonian Hydra} and mystic #3 (if only I had a Nykthos or Xenagos ;) )
Pass
18/2 - Hydra and Mystic untapped
Draw. Swamp. Another {agent of the fates}. Pass.
18/3
Draw
Forest. Tap all my lands for a {Nylea, God of the Hunt}.
Attack with the Hydra, making him an 8/8 with Trample.
I will continue my turn based on how you block (if at all). 1 card in hand with my 3 Mystics and the Satyr untapped for mana
No blocks. Hoping I don't regret that.
Ok. You take 8.
Second main phase i will tap all my dorks (Satyr untapping the Stomping Grounds) and cast {Clan Defiance} for 2, 2 at you and kill one of the agents.
Pass
18/0 - Nylea untapped. Devotion to {G} is 7
Crap. Ok. Draw. {fables hero}. Pass.
Draw
Tap out to give the Hydra +4 with Nylea. Attack with the Nylea and the Hydra for 26. Hydra has trample.
I pass regardless of what you do. I would be tapped out.
18/1
Oh...didn't think about trample...I could have done things a little different.
block the hydra with {agent of the fates}. {boon of erebos} on the agent, you sac a creature. I think I lose, yeah?
Well my deck does not have tier one makings I don't think. :/
Sac a mystic and you take lethal.
As far as your deck being tier 1 or not, i think that it will be good against a wide variety of decks, though what i played isn't one of them. I think it wins in the aggro matchup and the usual midrange matchup. If you have a full list somewhere for your deck I would actually be very interested in seeing it.
Good games by the way, I like the deck!
Thanks. Advice is welcome.

The {gridlock} is a placeholder for {glimpse the sun god} and the {ashen goul} is placeholder for {ashioks adept}

Hmm, I like the Glimpse in there but I'm not so sure about the Ashioks Adept. There may be better creature options, maybe Soldier of the Pantheon? Or Banisher Priest?
Maybe. I like the idea of repeatable discard, especially at instant speed so they discard during draw phase. It is a little expensive though on the mana curve.
Soldier if pantheon is good, but this is a midrange aggro, and too often the soldier is just a {savanna lions}.
Banisher preist isn't on theme, but migh be good. I'm moor inclined though to run doom blade or something.
That is a good point about both of those actually. And spot removal is never bad.
I'll play again if you want. I have removed one of the ashioks adepts for a doom blade.
I'll go first.
Plains. Pass.
20/6
I'll post my turn as soon as I have access to a deck.
