Ty. Friend had out {Darksteel Myr} with {Tempered steel} and tried to say my grasp wont kill it cause it does damage

It will, If an effect reduces the toughness to 0, he still dies :D that's why infect annihilates indestructible :)

I do have a question though if feducing the toughness to 0 is fatal damage and is "destroyed" wouldn't that mean indestructible still applies?

Reducing the toughness to zero is different than fatal damage. It's also different than "destroy" effects. For example, a creature with 0 toughness can't be saved with regeneration.
