Trying to see if any changes can make this better.
Any suggestions? I know jund is not one of the top decks, but with BotG it might come back.
Revised
I would cut 2 cards for land. You have a 6 for your highest cost so for me that means 24 land. To me it will help you stay on curve an hit what you need to hit
Make room for {Domri Rade}?
Agreed on 24 land count
I've played jund this last season and it is critical to get all 3 mana colors available in the first hand
Also: how do you respond to rushes. Maybe some early beaters?
Perhaps magma jets instead of mizzi
Allows for scrying which is great for when you have too much of one thing.
I'd do 1 more swamp at least considering you have DDs and the Whip
Updated. Domri rade is good, but don't have any atm
Maybe flame-wreathed Phoenix or stormbreath dragon?
{Reaper of the wilds} is great in jund, and anywhere outside of limited, {Forgestoker dragon} is horrid. Replace the dragons with reapers. I also like the idea of {Golgari charm} side boarded.
Popped in the reapers over the dargon. Right now it is stomping everything
I made a similar build using {Dreg Mangler} and {Burning-Tree Emissary}
The only problem I am running into is rush decks.
Golgari charm
Bile blight
Heros downfall
About decay
Drown in sorrow
What about some stormbreath dragon and a couple chandras phoenix.. They both have haste, stormbreath is a beater and the phoenix is good for early game contention until u can drop the bigger creatures or mistcutter hydra instead of the phoenix that comes out pretty fast or u can pump it later in the game
I'd go for Stormbreath too. Great card in the first place plus it helps devotion for both gods, which is always nice.
I'm a big fan of mistcutter in the side. But I see a lot of UW and mono U at my FNM, so ymmv
Originally I had stormbreath, but dropped it for reaper. Mist cutter is good, but don't really know what to drop for it on the sideboard
To me, in jund, Xenagos the god outclasses mogis, i would use at least one more Xenagos and put mogis in the side to deal with control. Xenagos just works so well with des demon or any other big creatures.
But mogis is a 4 drop as compared to xenagos being a 5.. It would change the mana curve plus take away an automatic 2 damage every opponents turn.. But id really put storm breath back in because of the flying and haste.. Jund should attack fast and any creature with haste is great for it
I agree that the storm breath is an all star here. I would run it in this list for sure. Not to mention if you ever get to resolve and then monstrous one against a control deck you get to feel like a kid at christmas
Use mogis AND xenagos :P
Finally done with this one. Going to be swapping out the 4 basic lands for the new swamp/forest scry land
Only thing I might swap out is 2 mogis for 2 domi rade
