Title: Budget
Post by: Ieatfood7 on January 17, 2014, 12:11:58 PM
Hi all!  I thing this is the right page to post this on.

I'm trying to pick a super budget (less than $10) deck to run at FNM tonight, and I want the best u can do on that budget. I have brewed up a few and would love advice on which looks best or changes I should make (yeah, shock lands would help, see super budget).

I don't know how to post deck lists on here easily, but if you go to my profile (ieatfood7) on tappedout.net (google tappedout and ieatfood7 and it should pop up) you would see a budget folder with six decks in it.

Any advise is appreciated. I have opinions between them but I want to hear from unbiased people. Thanks!

White weenie decks are usually pretty cheap and run well. Throw a few gods Willings, phalanx leaders, a good amount of enchantments and a couple other heroic style creatures would be great. Along with a cavalry Pegasus to give all your humans flight. BOOM! Lol

Lol. You might notice the "budget ww heroic" deck.

I am currently running the heroic Pegasus, instead of the one that gives others flying. Not sure though.

I'll think about it. I do like combo. Do you have a list?  How effective was the deck?

As a link to my budget decks I am honeing,

I have a maze post right now but I've changed it to an America control deck. The side board however is still turbo fog. Ill bump it for you

Edit: the sideboard there is a  {Sphinx's Revelation} which isn't part of the Budgt turboAlso a card I've taken or taking out is  {Gatecreeper Vine} which is needed in turbo fog. Another card I would put in but didn't have space is  {Treasured Find} to recycle fogs

{zur-taa Druid} {elite Arcanist} {triton tactics} combo is so cheap. Just play turbo fog-control till you get it going.

Playsets for all of the combo cards comes to a grand total of $3.84 or thereabouts.

Yeah, the combo is near but too fragile for my taste and my removal heavy meta.

I like minotaurs, and if I know me meta well enough, 2-3 main board slaughter games and 1-2 sideboard can turn UW control into an easier matchup. (Just call aetherling..,no more win conditions!  Or supreme verdict which is the biggest liability for weeny or midrange creature decks.
