Looking for a Modern legal mono black way to easily get {Phage The Untouchable} into play. Without waiting until T7 any ideas?
You can't cheat phage in or you lose. Best bet is to use ramp
{Torpor Orb}, {Stifle}, {Trickbind}, {squelch} with any reanimator strategy. 3 card combo though.
So there's no like you may play a black creature from your hand? :/

{Deathrender}? Put it on something then sac it or Kill it with any number of black spells?

That wouldn't work just like many other spells like {Through the Breach}. {Phage the Untouchable} must be cast from your hand so you don't lose, it can't be put into play by other effects.
So you'd need something to cast it with paying less mana or without paying mana cost....hmm k so couldn't stay mono black...
The best thing to do would probably just go {B}{G} or {B} devotion. Use ramp and mana dorks. {Crypt Ghast} might help and so could {Magus of the Coffers} and {Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx}. Use scary things like {Deathrite Shaman}, {Vampire Nighthawk} and {Phyrexian Obliterator} to survive early game and build up your devotion.

You can not put her in without casting herand hope to still be in the game. That means paying the cost and playing her like a normal creature. Youre only ways to "cheat" her in is play without paying the cost ({omniscience}) or deal with her trigger via {torper orb}, {stifle}, or effects that keep you from losing the game like {angel's grace} or {sundial of the infinite}.
