Title: Loss during attack
Post by: Destore117 on January 16, 2014, 01:40:34 AM
Say a player dies to {Blood reckoning} or really any card after they declare an attacker and I have no blockers
Question is. If they lose in response to the attack or I were to play an instant such as {sign in blood} {Toil // trouble} or what have you.
Do I still take attack damage? Or does their stuff get removed immediately before I would get hurt?

These were sorceries not instants but whatever

They lose the next time they would recieve priority, as losing is a state-based action, so yes, they would die before damage is dealt.
