I need help getting an idea going for a new standard deck that will be more fun than about winning. I have 2 {sphinx's revelation} I'm willing yo trade to get me started, and even a jace too!
Also, would like to get ahold of a playset of promo {grisly salvage}, cuz golgari kicks arse
Check out the standard section. I posted a deck that's pretty efficient and very affordable. It's called something like My rats.
I REALLY like auras right now. {Ethereal Armor}, {Madcap Skills}, {Boon Satyr}, {Unflinching Courage}.... You can go midrange with hexproof creatures ({Gladcover Scout}, {Witchstalker}, {Fiendslayer Paladin} <--technically not hexproof, but basically) or aggro with Heroic. Plus we are getting {Hero of Iroas} in BNG to lower costs and the article that spoiled him said BNG would have lots of Bestow goodies for a Hero deck.
Something midrangey sounds fun, maybe hexproof. I already have one drops as a casual BS, otherwise I would do that. Auras it is! Other than stuff like voices and land, does anybody have things they could part with for a few things?
I musk Ox you a question, on Tappedout originally

Right now, selesnya hexproof auras is a little bit slower than mono blue, and mono black has {devour flesh}. It's not that good right now.
I have been consistently beating both decks. {Unflinching Courage} usually gives you enough lifegain that you don't need to worry about being outpaced and {Devour Flesh} is easily beaten by just leaving another creature on the field. Generally, I end up with a huge hexproof creature, a creature that just sits on the board in case of sacrifice and another creature in hand in case of board wipe. {Ajani, Caller of the Pride}'s negative ends most games turn 5-6, plus {Boon Satyr} helps recover REALLY quick from board wipes. You should try the deck, it really is quite good.

I did at fnm. Lost to mono blue and mono black pack rat garbage. I didn't have ajani, but I had the rest.
Sometimes you just have bad nights. I have been running the deck for two months and have had like 6 X-0s (everyone added {Glaring Spotlights} to their SB because of me, so I just go aggro and don't care about the hexproof) but there was one week when I went 2-4. Usually, if you can just beat Esper, you can take the whole Enchilada, but it takes quite a bit of experience with the deck because determining which hands to keep and how to sideboard is a lot of times challenging.
Edit-Sorry for kind of thread jacking, I'm done.
I don't care. I'm sold on it. Got any spare parts?
