Just a reminder and for those that have not seen this, I picked up a Nature of the Beast Yesterday for $9 bucks.
"Do Not Backshelf" sticker over barcode at Target stores means its on sale in these cases.
It doesn't always mean that so any other magic products, scan to price check first.
Check the toy aisle, there is 90% of the time an end cap with some extra magic stuff hidden away from the card aisle, that's how I got my 3 Mind Sieze.
Go to your local Target, and check the bottom of the Commander boxes for a sticker over the barcode. Says something like do not back shelf. I got Eternal Bargain for $20, and they also have the naya and bant with those stickers.
Do you know about mind seize?
My target was sold out. I bought the last Esper, and they have two Jund that haven't been stickies. Tomorrow I'll try a different target and see what's about.
Guess commander is going oop? Seems strange to relabel everything unless they ate dropping it
I think they were only printing through year's end. Could be wrong.

Ah ok. Wanted to make sure because someone posted target was charging more then msrp for a box of cards. I try to keep an eye on prices all over to find out what's best.
I think anything that has come on the shelves last week and after have the discount. Look for a barcode sticker on the bottom that says "do not backstock" and you'll know its $20. All of the ones local to me have the discount!
Hmmm, mine had the sticker but it rang up $14.98.

But they also had jund naya and other bants for $30 still... So confused :/ I wanted the other ones but took the clearance one I could get

For anyone interested, as of today there are still bant and naya decks for $9 at my target. I'll sell for $9 + Postage + a little gas to pick them up and send them, if you're interested PM me and I'll see what postage would be and we can work it out.

I've read somewhere that someone else stocks magic supply for target
So it's possible that older decks(inventory) gets marked down and newer decks put out by supplier don't get the mark down
Went to a few targets kept seeing the red and green decks with the sticker most without it. Seen a similar sticker on some older packs and intro decks but no such discount.
Bought the beats and the control decks today for 18$.

I've noticed not all commander decks are marked. The red one is still full price.

I went through and counted and made a rough estimate of about 60.
There's a 13$ card in it which surprised me.

Went to 2 targets, sadly only found Jund and Bant, then Jund and Naya, neither on sale. I was looking for Grixis or Esper anyway, so no luck for me this time. :(

Just a reminder. The ones that were on sale had a sticker on the bottom that said do not back stock with a bar code. It was stuck to the old bar code. All the others are still msrp. You have to dig threw them and look on the bottom.

At the 2 stores I went to both had only 2 decks, and they didn't have stickers. :( and it also sounds like the sale is over.
Still, if they keep selling them at MSRP, nothing is wrong with getting a {True-Name Nemesis} and {Baleful Strix} at 30$ total...

I went to several different targets today and only found the same three decks. I figured mind seize and the other has been sold out.
There are booster packs and starter decks, even those 265 card M13 deck builder kits that have those stickers. I wonder if they will go down as well.
Highly doubt it, found a tibalt vs sorin DD and its still $20
But how fast would they move if they dropped to like 2$ or even less for a booster pack??? I would probably buy them all.

Well I will be keeping my eyes open and if I see them go down, I will instantly post and let people know.
Seen intro and booster packs with the same sticker. Scanned them no discount. Only seen one mind seize in all of the targets I went to and it was in one of the worse neighborhoods in Chicago. Most had a mix of the other three (green white or red)
As I said I got lucky. Wouldn't really recommend going to that one except I was working in that neighborhood.

Seriously hundreds of thousands of people play magic in a 50 mile radius. The only reason I don't bring my shop here is because there's something like 75 comic/card/hobby shops within 50 miles.

Also doubt you will find any mind seize or eternal bargain for $9. I went to every target in chicago and some of the north and west suburbs close to the city. I only found one with the tnn and a few of the others.
I literally went to 18 different targets last night with my son, and had no luck.
I only ever see Jund and Naya now. :(
