I don't like him... 2 damage? Or kill a mana dorks usually...? I think Epharas card draw is much more powerful

if you put him in a deck with lots of death triggers and/or undying you can turn his negative effect ino a huge advantage...while simultaneously putting pressure on your opponent. I'd use him if I ran those colors
And that's still one less blocker/mana source ;)

In a R/B Aggro deck, he could be pretty sweet. I'm curious, does Hybrid mana count towards 1 or 2 devotion? I.E. Does {Rakdos Cackler} count towards 2 or 1, due to the hybrid symbol.
Hard to say. When choosing for an effect like shrine you have to choose either or. But a static effect that just looks for the symbols dunno
It's 1, one red and one black in it, but only 1 symbol.
I dig Mogis a LOT. He's totally my jam. And I'm also okay with being a whale......not :P

The new gods are looking pretty .poo.y. I don't even think I will use them in EDH. I hoping for something cool out of the Junk ones so I can make a Junk God deck (standard).
I like Ephara actually, she's working in my EDH deck quite well
