Okay team, listen up!  I'm finally going to get some time to play cards with the group this monday and I need to blow their minds out the backs of their skulls. I have a skeleton for a deck idea I'm thinking of throwing together. The format is: Vintage, pseudo-free-for-all (roll to determine who you can attack), 4-6 oppoents. I need some ideas. Ready? GO!🚥

Dunno if you want to add blue for some control, but if you do, add your crazy blue walls, {wall of frost}, etc

A nice idea, but I think I'm already pushing with three colors.

Maybe a {fog} or something of that nature in case you end up in a pinch before your life gain.

Add some lands, that might help😉

Since you got some B how bout a {Sanguine Bond} to make that lifegain sting?

I'm trying to think of good uses to spend life on so that I can drop my life total to five for Fateful Hour.

How about {Tarmogoyf} or {Dark Confidant} both are very good cards.

{Dark Confidant} is a possibility, card advantage for life is good. He's just a big target in FFA, though. Being a creature is more of a disadvantage in multi. I'd be better of with {Phyrexian Arena} IMHO.

NOt sure what role the $100 Lhurgoyf would play here... That and I don't have one gracing my collection. ;)

Alright, so this big mess is what I'm bringing tomorrow. *sigh* I guess I'll see how it plays.

If you are looking to trigger fateful hour then you really need those phyrexian guys that you pump by paying life or mana. That way you can really control how much life you drop and when. :)

Yeah, I thought about the souleaters.  The only one that really benefits multiple uses is {Immolating Souleater}, and it is less than useful with {Doran, the Siege Tower} in play.

I'm thinking of dropping the whole fateful hour concept from the deck.

I feel like this deck lacks good answers to threats and a good win-con.  I really don't want to play {Test of Endurance}.  I was considering {Soul Conduit} to mess with people.  Draw a ton of cards with Necro, trade life, Tree back up.

Won in four player FFA with this bad boy. Let me tell you, Doran, Tree, and Undying rocked tha house!!

In fact, I'm going to squeeze {Undying Evil} into every deck that can support it. So many board wipes leaving me with the only creature. 😃
