If you used {Evolving Wilds} on a shock land would the shock land enter tapped or untapped if you paid the two life?
Evolving wilds only searches for basics, if o remember.
Only lands that have the word basic on them.

and if instead you used something like {crop rotation} and chose to bring in a shockland, it would still come in tapped unless you paid two life.
Are there any other green cards that allow you to search for a shock?
{farseek}
Zendikar search lands let you do that.

Just letting you know, those are about 50-60 $ depending on which one you get.
{farseek} is much cheaper. The only downside is you can't search for a forest. But you can still get shock lands with it so not much of a downside.
And $40 lol. I think I'll stick to farseek
If i use farseek on a shock land how will it not enter the battlefield untapped if i pay two life?
{nature's lore} can grab forests and lets then come into play untapped

{Spoils of Victory}, {Sylvan Scrying}, {Skyshroud Claim}...just some of the cards that can search for shock lands
I STILL PREFER {evolving wilds} over {crop rotation}. Getting the right land in my tri colt deck is essential.
