Title: Birdbrain
Post by: Birdbrain on January 13, 2014, 03:28:02 PM
I'd like to open a trial against birdbrain

User accused: birdbrain
Victims: nightwolf, coffee vampire, thetrufflehunter

He signed up for the secret Santa, and mod secret Santa, and hasn't sent yet. On top of that, he procrastinated for a long time in sending thetrufflehunter his contest winnings.

I suggest that we find some appropriate punishment, sense he was indifferent about his modship, and didn't care when it was taken away

A trial against yourself? Interesting.

My suggestion: send those cards out Immediately and stop procrastinating, along with an apology, and everything should be peachy.

The punishment should be that birdbrain must relinquish all magic and magic related object to spencer addington. All in favor? I!! Then the matter is decided.

A) you didn't have to accept
B) you can step down anytime you want

I'm with Gorzo. Just send the cards, man.

Before we can dole out a punishment, we need to assess whether or not Birdbrain has intentions of sending his cards.

Birdbrain, do you have any intention of sending the victims their cards?

Then we treat this like the Mlerner situation. When everyone has received their cards, punishment will be dealt.

Birdbrain, if I was Coffee or Wolf (unless you've previously spoken with them and gotten an okay to send them later), then I would be absolutely furious after reading your comment. That's a blatant disregard toward the members and what they're owed.

I'm inclined to agree with LG. there's absolutely no reason to procrastinate like this. Should Nyghtwolf or CV decide to complain and request action or punishment, you're giving them more fuel. You're lucky they're both extremely nice guys, because they have you by the balls right now if they want to, quite frankly.

Keep your agreements with them while it's still flowers and sunshine, please! Do not wait until it turns to a .poo. storm.

The secret santa thing was supposed to be fun, and I don't feel entitled at all to any gifts, even if I was *supposed* to get one. If this was a trade between you and me, then I would feel differently. I forgive you so you don't have to have nightmares of a coffee vampire abducting you now.

I will say this though: whether it's a favor or an obligation, ALWAYS do what you say you will do. Let your "yes" be yes and your "no" be no. Don't make promises. If you say yes, then do so. If you say no, then do not to so. But always follow through. Be a man (or bird...) of your word.

Mr... Birdbrain, is it???  It has come to my attention, that you are no longer a bird.  More like a bat.  Because at the moment, you are indeed, batshit crazy.  Stop being a bat, and go back to the lovable bird we all know.

Sincerely,
