Title: Haazda Shield Mate
Post by: Vileo on January 12, 2014, 07:03:42 PM
So, can I use {Haazda Shield Mate} to prevent damage from a Hexproof/Shroud creature?

Yes. His ability does not say "target," and so is not affected by hexproof or shroud.
Thats what I thought, thanks!

This is true, however, the Shield mate only prevents damage that would be dealt to you, he does not prevent damage dealt to creatures.

So after casting, he is a fixed upkeep of two white and then {W} ignores whatever you want for your life total... Very very nice
I'm making {Eight-and-a-Half-Tails} in EDH. Seems handy.
