You'll definitely want {steel overseer}- buffing everything isn't a bad play.

-3 {Mycosynth Golem}
-4 {Darksteel Relic}
-2 {Galvanic Blast}
+3 {Glimmervoid}
+4 {Signal Pest}
+2 {Springleaf Drum}

??  Getting Tez and {Academy Ruins} could be a little sketchy with just the opals and the 2 drums.  {Signal Pest} is a force to be reckoned with haha!  And drum is just good!

I agree with this, but would drop tezzeret before i dropped {galvanic blasts}. also:

-3 {Ethersworn canonist}
-1 {Arcbound Ravager}
+4 {Steel Overseer}

{Steel overseer} ends games quickly and reliably. He's the best card in the deck besides {cranial plating} or {mox opal}.

It's looking much better, but 20 is too many lands. I'd say:

-2 {Ghost Quarter}
-2 {Academy Ruins}
+1 {Ornithopter}
+2 {Galvanic Blast}
+1 {Arcbound Ravager}

Anything else trying to make it competitive so I can take it to Totalcon and FNM

I'd say sideboard {torpor orb} for Kiki decks and {graffdiggers cage} for birthing pod decks.

Is   {Thopter Assembly}and  {Time Sieve} worth running?

Too slow for modern, especially affinity. You want to close out games by around turn 4/5, and drawing only one of the two combo pieces will only slow you down.

As affinity player you do not want to play 4 Etched Champions and 4 Glimmervoids... Also replace one thoughtcast by {steelshaper's gift}. Master of Etherium looks really nice but you mostly will not have chance to play him... And he will be stucked on your hand... Believe me I have tested about 6 variations of this build and now I got balanced build that I was more than satisfied during last modern GP..;)

If you will be interested I can bump it for you..;)

Just because you were comfortable with it doesn't mean someone else is. There are variations because each deck is supposed to allow people to play different versions of the deck and still be competitive.

I get ur point but there are logical reasons for not playing 4 glimmervoids or etched champions..;) glimmervoids simply because if someone hits you with {Hurkyl's Recall} then you only look on ur poor glimmervoids disappearing to ur graveyard... Etched champion bcs of many reasons, mirror matches, twins playing bladesplicer, tron...
And you rather mount ur plates every turn on your animated inkmoth nexus than play 3 drop master of etherium

I also have a list if you want to see, yours looks good, however I'd - 1 memnite and +1 ornithopter. Need max evasion with the platings ;)
