Is it worth it to put {Temple of Deceit} in mono black devotion? They can still pay for almost everything in the deck, but they work against {Crypt Ghast}. Thoughts?

If your running teir 1 yes, but {crypt ghast} is definately not teir one. Without knowing your list I cant say for sure.
Problem with temples is you miss the land usage for the turn instead of having a swamp, which can be killer when you want to drop something every turn.
What's worse, miss the extra mana for a turn or see your potential next card with the ability to ditch it?
It's great if you run nightveils and want to possibly play some of the cards you steal also

Do you run {Nightveil Specter}s if so a playset? Because then I would say run 4 (one of each when the next set comes out) to have a chance to use your opponents stuff.
I do run nightveils, and in my deck I take advantage of nykthos a lot.
