I know everyone likes their full art lands, but the prices of foil zen islands are insane! ($25 for a nm land)
Do you guys buy/use full art lands? Do you prefer a specific type? Just curious, it's always interesting to hear what people like to do/use for their lands ;)
For example, I use foil vivid lands in my 2 color decks rather that guildgates (which are strictly better in that situation) because they look awesome :).
I also have innistrad basics for some reasons. AVR ones to. I like rtr though.... (This is all for plains)
For some reason I think the foil onslaught lands were the best. Loved the art and the borders have a vintage feel to them.

I think I have one of the promo onslaught ones... It has the larger version of what is now where the set symbol would be on FNM promos in foil
I actually prefer old beta lands and the unglued lands. The foil zendikars are cool (Moneekah collects them). I wish I would've known the foil zendi's would be worth so much, they would literally get passed over commons and bulk rares T_T

One time a while ago my friend traded a nm foily zendikar island (the cool one with the hedron and the blue wave-spray-wind-thing) for a {moonveil dragon}.... He thought he was getting the better end of the deal.... :P

Yeah I had that one when it was in standard and tossed it in as part of a trade. I mean they were just basics back then, everywhere. But as box prices keep klimbing because of the cards in that set I expect the foils to keep rising. Especially islands. People love islands.

Everybody loves islands :P anyone know how much 1st print runs boxes are now? They must be up to a few hundred right?
I have carefully built up enough zendikar full arts (around 200, 6 foil) for the whole team to play full art lands almost always.
We always draft using our full arts too.

For my modern Merfolk, I use Arena Island #2... Just something about a sea serpent swimming in a prehistoric environment reminds me of Merfolk... But man those lands were hard to find...
