Title: Playing abroad
Post by: LinzInTheBarn on January 05, 2014, 11:13:41 PM
So, I am leaving on February 7 (my bday, coincidentally) to complete my degree abroad in Vienna, Austria for 5 months. I would love to be able to play some MTG over there, maybe learn some more German in the process. Anyone have any clues as to how I could find some places to play? Or, by some chance, has anyone been there and played? Kind of a shot in the dark, but I figured y'all would be the best people to ask. Thanks for any input!

Please tell me it's not a degree in Opera.

Haha, no opera. I'm pre-veterinary medicine. Large animal specialty.

Thank you, Taysby, for the idea.

All I can say from experience is that 3 months in Italy yielded nothing. It's a bit less popular in Europe I'd imagine (some places more than others I'm sure)
