Vampires in the majorities eyes are black because they are evil, or selfish. But why not green? Vampires are at it's very base primal beings that don't live off reason, but emotion. Instincts for a vampire are like lifelines, or else they couldn't hunt for victims. Also something green. They live off blood, not selfishly but because they have to, if they don't drink blodd they go to primal instincts, and and they base form of emotions, and needs. While they can appear refined, and overflowing with rescourses, thus making them selfish bats, they can also be a vampire in an isolated place. Basically killing whatever passes. Which is again primal.
Plus vampires have switched over to red in the color pie, so it isn't unheard of them switching over.
Although I do agree it is good they are black, could they also be green in some cases. Your thoughts?
I think birdbrain should chime in.
Vampires are not "primal" per say. They hunt and drink blood of necessity, but all vampires in the story that aren't read are logical (in a selfish way), selfish, deceptive, and in every way black. They are not savage, not are they beasts. They are learned.
Hey, is this a parody thread? :P

Maaybe... :P
I was kind of interested in the concept, and thought about the possibilities.
And person who posted before (I have horrible memory) that is very true, they are learned, deceptive, manipulative jerks. But what if we visited a plane that had just received vampires. This being before they learned what they know, and they would have no example. What then?
Sorry if I sound condescending, I'm just a curious person.
Now I wanna start "Beasts could be white" lol
Well, that's a huge hypothetical. Anything can happen hypothetically. Wizards could make me into a card and then make a plane inhabited by clams, for .love.s sake.
Not trying to be rude, I'm just naturally unable to stop from arguing, and usually unable to see through how what I'm saying sounds.

I have the same problem, so I always have to ask people if I sound like an ass.
Moving on, wouldn't that be an interesting plane. I would be fascinated by the story about the plane of clams.
"I'm here to save you all!" Said Clamilia, Keeper of Treasures.
"Oh thank god your here Clamilia, these salt shakers where about to kill us all!!!"
"Well that's not a problem Mr. Clam! You can count on m--"
CRUNCH
And the salt shakers killed everyone, and the oysters were happy the story wasn't about them.
The end

Jesus I can't stop laughing
I need to make a story about that plane just because it would be funny.
What would the plane be called anyway? Oh I KNOW!

arnt vampires also ruled by there passions? While green can be passonite at times (like when it's life is threatened) red is passonite all the time. I think there both {B} and {R}
Green is a lot more "pure nature" whereas vampires are pretty unnatural. I could maybe see a RG Vampire. Maybe a BG, although BG tends toward zombies. Maybe even a Jund vamp? Idk. We might just have to wait for another Time Spiral block for Wizards to break the entire color pie again.
I could see a legendary jund vampire. {Thraximundar} is zombie colors plus red, so why not a vampire that is vampire colors plus green?

maybe it could e a vampire that lived in the forest for so long, driven away that it became instinctual and feral
Maybe even an elf that became a vampire!
