Title: Odd Question
Post by: Mattao19 on January 05, 2014, 06:35:28 PM
My friends relative married a girl and that guys brother married her sister. We both thought it was odd. What do you think?

To rephrase is it weird for 2 brothers marry 2 sisters? (Prior to the marriage there was no family connection between them)

I've heard of that happening before. Seems fine to me.

Had a friend do that his older sister married a guy. Then he got close to the younger sister and they got married. I thought it was weird but if they are happy that's all that matters.

Fine to me as well. No laws against in-law relations and the bloodline isn't tainted via inbreeding.

You see this a lot with twins. Quite often they'll go search for twins to be in a relationship with, and end up getting married.

Twin couples.

Its like someone did

on a couple. I wonder how their kids will look like. Same genes and all that.

I had this happen in my family, with my parents actually. My aunt and my mom are sisters, who had married brothers. I have couple cousins who might as well be siblings due to blood.
