{Platinum angel} is bad, but remand over pyroclasm helps against other tron decks, but not much against most other decks in the format. If you do want to play blue, don't forget to play {thirst for knowldege}.

To be honest, if you're going to run blue, you might as well play U/W tron with the gifts package he suggested.

By that, he means stuff like {Solemn Simulacrum} for ramp/dig, {Thirst for Knowledge} for draw, and {Treasure Mage} to grab wincons.
