Title: awesome turn in a wall game
Post by: Ekann1 on January 01, 2014, 11:12:49 PM
i would have kept going after this, but i would have milled myself to death :P

"then I will take 2 and block the knight with griselbrand and 1 token with thragtusk. gain 7 and go to 16. draw, cast {unexpected results} revealing {breeding pool}. put it onto the battlefield tapped and return unexpected results to my hand. cast {unexpected results} revealing {steam vents}. put it onto the battlefield tapped and return unexpected results to my hand. cast it again revealing {thragtusk}. put it onto the battlefield and gain 5 going to 21. attack with griselbrand. you take 7, i gain 7 going to 28. then pay 7 to draw 7. cast {unexpected results}. 1 extra turn. cast {time stretch} 2 more extra turns. cast {jin-gitaxias, core augur}.  play {hinterland harbor}. +3 nicol bolas destroying a plains. pass, 21/9, discarding double supreme verdict.

draw 7 at end step from jin-gitaxias.

1st extra turn:

draw, detentions sphere your remaining token. attack with griselbrand + 2 thragtusks + jin-gitaxias. gain 7.  you take 23. game?"

I was just like, hell of a lot of mana to drop unexpected results 3 times in 1 turn.

Two things... You got an extra turn from casting unexpected results?
Second, you discarded before drawing your extra 7 cards. Cleanup step happens after the end step trigger.

no, i had a few extra turns from before i think. and i didn't know about the clean up/end step thing, thanks

i think i meant temporal mastery, not unexpected results.
