KoS: Kill on sight
Why are most survival games KoS? A friend and I were just playing on a minecraft survival server for about a week and some random guy finds our house and kills us. I was friendly to him/her at first then they just kill my friend and I. On this server we are friendly to everyone and give things to people if we have extras. We mind our own business and just mine and have a good time, but some people don't like items given to them.. So they kill you to get them? There was another instance of this on a GTA: San Andreas mod for PC that we dubbed GTAZ. We are friendly to people and give things to people that need them and we still get shot..
What are your takes on survival games like this?

Don't play with randoms. Research available servers for PvE games and make sure there are anti a-hole rules in place and sufficient, capable, active server admins to handle them.
I never play co-op games with random people anymore. Only with friends. Because randoms on Internet games now sadly means trolls, griefers, and those guys who think it's cool use as many inappropriate words as they can because if they used them without hiding behind the net they'd be beaten senseless.
^^^ yea to this. This is mainly why I don't play a lot of online games without a group of friends. People find it fun to ruin games for others so I try to stay away from all that.

Well I just started up on "No More Room In Hell" on steam, and I had no idea what I was doing. They legitimately helped me figure things out. I guess there is always an exception to these rules.
Just stick to no FF co op games! Killing Floor FTW!
I can't stand Griefers.......that's why I play solo.....like Spyro & Crash! #OldSchool

Good ol Spyro! Retro games are great. I do miss the old console game styles. I should plug in my old NES, SNES, or Sega Genesis and go for a nostalgia trip down memory lane. They don't make em like they used to.
I like single player games, myself. Like Kerbal Space Program and The Stanely Parable.
I actually played Hey You, Pikachu! yesterday...........it was glorious.
This is why I like to stick to my crash, (spyro was something I sucked at, and I don't know why. Need to try it again) kingdom hearts, and Conker's bad fur day. Not this new fangled crap.
OH! And Duck Tales. Mostly for the music in the moon theme. X3
Lol, Conker's Bad Fur day was such a horrible/wonderful game. Those damn Teddiz.
I kind of have a hankering to play some old Megaman games.
Lol I saw the elder scrolls saga for 10 bucks at Walmart.
I forgot to bring my money... ;(

Morrowind!
naw, Oblivion is where it's at!
I beg to differ. Thieving was ANNOYING in Oblivion. "Restricted Access?" It's a Roman Empire-esque setting. How does someone know you're trespassing if they don't see you do it? Lock picking was a chore (SOOO happy with how Skyrim does it) and everyone's a prick to Khajiits. Wait, that last one's true in every Elder Scrolls game... XD
I agree 100% with these statements. Lockpicking sucked in Oblivion. Sooooo glad they switched it with Fallout 3 and carried it over to Skyrim. I also hated the class system in Oblivion.

I've always preferred running thieves. They have the most fun quests XD
I've wanted to try a Craftknight in Skyrim for a while now, I might start soon.

Err, you all do know that Emulators are things right? Pretty much any retro game can be found for free with an emulator to play it in PC
well of course, who doesn't have VBA, DesMuMe and Zsnes?
