Title: Wurmcoil Engine
Post by: El Bellfry Toro on December 31, 2013, 07:44:34 PM
If you sacrifice Wurncoil Engine to, let's say, Birthing Pod, to summon Elesh Norn, do you still get the 2 tokens that Wurncoil Engine provides?

I thought it wouldn't sense it says that if it dies. Sense you're sacrificing it, it isn't dying, it's being sacrificed.
(I know that if you sacrifice it does die, but due to another meaning).

If it enters the graveyard from the field, it dies. Whether or not it was because of sacrificing doesn't change things. You'll get the tokens!
