What is a stigmatism?
I heard about it talking to my eye doc a few days ago.
Astigmatism is where the lens of the eye is oval shaped instead of circular shape. As a result, the eye cannot focus properly, resulting in everything being blurry...
Yeah. I have that. Thanks very much!
I have it in one eye, which results in me needing a special, more expensive contact lense in that eye :(
I have it in my left eye. Just means you can't really focus with that eye.
The good thing is that they now have contacts that help with it instead of just glasses. Hopefully yours isn't too bad. I'm nearsighted in one eye and farsighted in the other. Crazy expensive glasses. My dad had to have multiple surgeries in his left eye because off an unfixed problem. Def keep things in check with your doctor and go to the recommended yearly visits
i have a persistent pupillary membrane, look it up on google images for some wack eyes, mine is only one membrane though, so i don't have like a spider web across my pupil, just a line :P
I have astigmatism in my right eye so need a weighted contact
Yeah I have it in my left eye and it's practically impossible to focus. That said I have exceptionally strong glasses that the docs have said should help readjust the lens. So maybe. Just maybe. I won't be COMPLETELY unable to see
