I tried something like this at FNM last week, it failed miserably, but good luck with your build. If you end up building it and play people, I'd love to hear how it did.

I would have a few copies of assemble the legion somewhere if even just in the board... maybe just one miser copy in the main?

If {Chained to the Rocks} can't also attach to a nonbasic land that can produce red mana, then you may want to just take them out in a deck with 3 mountains in it
