Title: Heroic and counter spells

If the spell gets countered. Heroic wont trigger correct?

nope, it will trigger. all heroic cares about is if you target with spells. not what happens to the spell.

This is correct! The only way to stop a heroic trigger once the spell has been cast is with "counter target triggered ability" like {Stifle} or by disrupting the creature about to gain the benefit, like {Lightning Strike} before the ability resolves to kill it before it gets those +1 counters.

Ah! Alright so I've been playing Heroic wrong :/
Or rather. My friends have. We thought if you played a counter spell it basically makes the countered spell go to the graveyard and not have any effect.

It's just too bad centaur battle master cost an arm and a leg for heroic

I just made a heroic bant deck and its really fun for a playstyle as you're keeping your opponent guessing what you will instant in

Before I ran boon satyrs, I would keep 5 mana open due to having no playable cards, people thought I was waiting for them to attack so I could flash bestow

Now with the GW power Bestow its easy to make opponents wary. Double surprise Bestow late game vs removal is FUN.
