Title: Chaos cube success!
Post by: Kaleo42 on December 29, 2013, 02:33:34 PM
As many of you may remember I was developing a cube based on the idea of chaos. Friday night after fnm we had the first 8 man draft with it and it was a complete success. The cube is balanced, has curve, and is most importantly fun. I am still trying to add to the cube so that it can support 60 card draft decks instead of just 40.

Post a list in casual or at least a link to a deck list.

I've been considering a chaos themed EDH deck as red chaos cards are too fun, but unfortunately never used.

Sounds interesting. Did you use any of my ideas?

What's the cost of putting this cube together?

I have spent $20 credit and $5 cash on cards for this cube. The sleeves are the most expensive part. Thankfully we had a lot of black sleeves.

For the entire thing? $25 plus sleeves?

How many cards of this did you already have?

I had a lot of it and probably around 40 cards were given to me for this project. Also about a third were picked up as add ons to trades. I started this idea in august, began building in september, and began testing late november.

It's done!!

Final list is up! I will begin sharing how the drafts are going. The team and those close to us are gaining a lot of interest in the cube.
