Title: Token Question, not really sure...
Post by: Galabranth on December 28, 2013, 08:22:13 AM
Just started getting used to Selesnya Tokens. I'm not sure about one thing though.
As soon as tokens get created/populated, could they attack? Do tokens get affected by Summoning sickness?

Oh and as an afterthought, any tips for token based decks? (any fellow G/W players out there?)

If the token is a creature, it will have summoning sickness if it has no haste.

Thanks again bro. Just a tad bit off topic, what deck type do you use?

I don't play standard, but i do have a {Marath, Will of the Wild} EDH deck that pretty much floods the board with tokens via {Doubling Season} and {Parallel Lives}.

Sounds pretty beast. What tokens do you use? I'm not sure what tokens to balance. There're ones ranging from  {Midnight Haunting} to  {Armada Wurm}.

If you want a standard deck, go to the standard section and look for the topic called "tokens!!!". That might help.

Tip
{emara tandris}

Not so great in my opinion. Doesn't make the tokens indestructible, so things like {heros downfall} still kill them. But this probably isn't the place for this discussion, this is for rules questions :)
