But I just got into infect, an have a deck made up but would like to know people's take on it. Is a aggro better way to go ? Or control style then all out war with infect? Or something else entirely?
Most modern infect drops a {glistener elf} or a {plague stinger} and tries to win asap by buffing it with {pendlehaven}, {might of old krosa}, {mutagenic growth}, etc.
What's your deck focused on? You could try {Blight Mamba} . Cheap chump blockers. Regen is useful so you can keep on hitting. {Giant Growth} and {Mutagenic Growth} makes sure your opponents stay down.
Currently it's the {necropeade} and the myrs as my creatures. And heavy counter and removal support. But it's lookin like g/b or g/u aggro is the way I need to look.
Just made a simic infect that wins turn 2-5 so I like it. SUPER aggro.
Here's the deck list:
4 {Pendelhaven} 7 {Forest} 4 {Hinterland Harbor} 4 {Breeding Pool} 4 {Inkmoth Nexus}
23 lands
4 {Blighted Agent} 4 {Glistener Elf}
8 creatures
2 {Wild Defiance} 4 {Giant Growth} 4 {Apostle's Blessing} 4 {Groundswell} 4 {Distortion Strike} 3 {Livewire Lash} 4 {Dismember} 4 {Mutagenic Growth}
29 other spells
Sideboard
4 {Ichorclaw Myr} 4 {Simic Charm} 3 {Pithing Needle} 4 {Surgical Extraction}
15 sideboard cards

I would still caution against {livewire lash}- you want to be using turn 2 to dump more pumps on to the one infect creature you have ({might of old krosa} is one that isn't in spencer's list) and I would also suggest {Cathedral of War} for the exalted trigger, if noble hierarchs are too expensive.
