With the new legendary artifacts can I only have one with the same name on the battle field like legendary creatures?
The legendary rule applies to all permanents.
What type of permanent it is doesnt change the legend rule. If two pemanents are legendary and have the same name and are controlled by the same player then one is put in the yard.
