I need help with a {Gisela, Blade of Goldnight} EDH. I don't play much EDH so I need help. The way I'm seeing her is as a general for a Boros Super-Aggro deck. It would include lots of things to give double strike ({Avatar of Slaughter}) and lots of damage multiplication ({Furnace of Rath}). It would pretty much turn the game into a bloodbath. Is this a good/viable idea? Card suggestions?
You will probably want {Frontline Medic} and {Avacyn, Angel of Hope} to prevent someone from ruining your game. {Agrus Kos, Wojek Veteran} is fun with Gisela. {Master of Warcraft} is fun. You are going to want some removal: {Condemn}, {Path to Exile}, {Oblivion Ring}, {Swords to Plowshares}. {Boros Charm}, {Cleaver Riot}, {Balefire Liege}, {Ceredon Yearling}, {Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite}, {Flame-Kin Zealot}, {Spark Trooper}, {Heartless Hidetsugu} (instant kill because it gets doubled), {Hellrider}, {Inferno Titan}, {Malignus}. Hope this helps :)
It's certainly viable! If you go with lots of bloodbath combat damage effects like {Gratuitous Violence}, you might want to load up on combat tricks like {Rootborn Defenses} that allow your blood-crazed attackers to be indestructible and survive for more mayhem.
{Holy Day} and other white fog-like effects might be smart if, too, if your opponents can potentially attack back at you for 8x damage.
{True Conviction} sounds right up your alley, too. Let em swing back for a ton, you're gaining double strike at x16 damage lifelink!
