I can't decide whether I want {roon of the hidden realm} or {derevi, empyrial tactician} as the commander of my bant edh deck. What do you guys think? I might just switch between the two, and use derevi when there are more people playing. (More times derevi would get killed, and then I only have to pay 4 each time)
I would do Roon. Deverai is very easy to deal with. Which is not good for you.
Yeah, right now I am using roon. However, even though derevi is easy to deal with, derevi comes back easily too :)

Until it's put into your deck. Until it's exiled. Then again a lot of commanders can be dealt with this way. I have played against him many times, as it's a pre built commander. I can't remember the name of the card, but there is one in particular that doesn't allow abilities from card's that is outside the battlefield to be activated. Which pretty much kills him.
True. Roon is more fun anyway, I like blinking {fiend hunters} in response to the ETB trigger :D

Wow lots of stuff. Thanks. I'm just starting edh and I took angel of finality out of the deck. Is it really that useful for have graveyard hate? Should I put it back it?

I think I'll end up using roon, but if you have your list typed up somewhere or have an easier way to do it than typing in each card, sure. No need to post it if you have to put it all into imtg just for this,though.
