So my dad just got the {U}{B} Theros starter deck he wanted for Christmas. He has that and a {R}{W} deck. He opens the deck and the two boosters fall out. He's like, "What are these?" And I explain them. He opens the first. {Boon Satyr}, not bad. Opens the next. Foil {Disciple of Nylea} for his collection and {Elspeth, Sun's Champion}. He's opening my packs for me from now on.
that how it was for me. My step dad had bought my 16 packs it was when Inistrad block was standard. it was just before m13 came out. he had bought 4 of each pack. he opened the first pack whch was a Foil lilliana of the veil and in the same pack was a Sorin. than i had also opened a couple of the Inistrad lands plus an Avacyn. i was like HOLY CRAP. he didn't even know what magic was when he went to buy my birthday gift. he had gone down to my LGS and asked what was magic they explained it to him and they tried to teach him but he didn't want to learn.

no i traded her away a while a go. :( saddly. it was depressing when he asked me about that card and i told him it is 200 and back then it was 80
