Hey guys! Just thought I would share the news.
I'm having the best Christmas this year, as I'm currently in the hospital and my wife and I are having a baby girl being delivered now!!
Yaaay Ertai!!!!!!!!!
Btw, I'm cross between the names Karona, Braids, and Jeska.
Any suggestions?
Braids seems nice
Well my wife is named phage, our son is Kuberr, so why not braids?

Huh?
Haven't you read the Onslaught books? I was making a joke. As Kuberr (the character) was born from Phage and the Unspeakable.

We're on two completely different pages haha lets just say there once was a user here named Kuberr who burned more than his share of bridges.

I could be making all sorts of jokes, but I was just reprimanded for doing things like that...
Unlike some, Taysby, if you crack a joke at me, I will crack one right back. :D

Congratulations Ertai! Awesome news for the holidays!
Sooo. 6lbs 12oz 19 1/4" and born at 8:05am MST
This can now go one of two ways, we will start seeing less of Ertai due to being so busy with the new baby, or we will see even more of him at all hours of the night, due to being woken by the baby! ;) parenthood is awesome! I'm happy for you!

This is my second. I have a boy that's 16 months old, but he doesn't wake up. Or I wasn't on here when he was constantly.
Thanks for the warm wishes guys!
Congrats on the kid!

Yeah, parenthood. Where you raise an infernal spawn of evil, that constantly screams and keeps you up at night and makes you wipe their butt. Sounds fun...
Just remember that was you at one point ;)
Unless you were born a 13 year old or however old when you become potty-trained. 13 is the normal age for that right?

Yeah, parenthood. Where you create life and raise a person to be the best they can be. Watching them grow up and seeing their life unfold right before your eyes. It's rather amazing. Besides screaming lasts only a few months and diapers a couple years at most. Not much at all in the grand scheme of things. You seem to have a warped perception of parenthood.
I'll be elated when the day comes that I create a little one :) Christmas time and birthdays will just be that much more exciting! I love watching little kids open gifts and say things like "OH MY GOSH, NURF GUNS! Awesome!!!!!" :D

I can't wait for that either!!
I'm counting the days when I can dust off the Legos from my childhood and play Spacemen, knights, and pirates. :3

Oh god yes. Except I'd never let my poor kid play them, I'd be too busy playing with all of them myself. "MY LEGOS, KID! Go play with mommy, the King has a very important meeting with Captain Peg-Peg and Space-Admiral Bleeborp."
My 2 year old's early vocabulary consisted of "mama, daddy, Jesus, cheese, bubbles, please, and ... Lego". With close monitoring (and mostly big ugly rock pieces and baseplates) toddlers can totally brick it up. But I'm with lolrus and mike, when the minifigs come out we will have truly arrived.
