I need some help fleshing out a golgari deck. I want my main wincon to be {On Nixilis, the Fallen} paired with something like {Scapeshift}. I also thought about using {Herald of Leshrac} to make {Scapeshift} better.
Who would be your commander?
Probably {Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord} since you can let him go to the graveyard and then pitch lands to get him back and play him without the extra mana. Then just throw in {Life from the Loam}, {Crucible of Worlds}, and {Exploration} type effects and you've got yourself a deck. Throw in {Avenger of Zendikar} and {Rampaging Baloths} for support with enough fetch lands and basics and youre good to go.
I havent decided on a general yet. Not sure if I want it to be dredgy or not. I'm thinking a dredge style would be good. I already have a jarad edh built and I can just modify it.
