Just built this the other day. Tested it and it has never came close to losing. I think if I get right mana it will be unstoppable. Any thoughts on it, any weakness. Will be playing in PTQ the 28th, so any suggestions would be appreciated

Have you considered playing scry lands? They seem like they'd be useful here...

Yes I do have them. Was thinking about some temple of silences. What do u think about the rest of it? I really can't see how it could lose if ran right

Is 4 thoughtsieze needed in SB? Seems like you could run 3 and have room for something else. Also, how are your blue and black devotion matchups? Blue seems ok, but monoblack seems hard. I'd run another heros downfall sideboard.

Mono decks have been easiest. Especially black. Just because of {brave the elements} and {gods willing}. Because I don't have to worry about any of there creatures or spells. Well {thoughtseize} is a bitch, but other than that it's great

And no I don't need 4 {thoughtseize}, actually I have never had to side out cards because the main has been unstoppable. I just thought of cards for the side for problems I might have

Its not the actual creatures that make it unstoppable, it is the instants. Makes me unblockable any time I have a instant in my hand, more than likely. And by the time they can do anything I have way to many awesome creatures out to do anything. And board wipes I can stop

Anyone else, please feel free to comment. I need suggestions and or comments

{Cyclonic rift} wrecks this build. Just keep an eye out for smart mono blues and control decks. Esper control seems like the hardest matchup with {supreme verdict} and {far//away} positioned well against you once they {thoughtseize} you.

It looks pretty solid over all thought. I would consider {gift of orzhova} instead of {unflinching courage}. Gift lefts you get around some of the beefier decks that may stall you till you brave and it lets you block {nightveil specter} and {desecration demon}.

{cyclonic rift} should not be too much of a problem because of {gods willing} and {brave the elements}. {gift of orzhova} is a great idea instead of {unflinching courage}. Thanks for the comments, this should help out a lot. If you think of anything else, please let me know. Thanks

Those won't help if they overload the {cyclonic rift} 😜

Overall I do really like it, do u think it is really worth it to run the black In the deck? Any time u introduce a third color it makes it less consistent, no matter what u say, plus it's a little difficult to side in a {Hero's downfall} with {B}{B} in the cmc. I would say that for the 2 cards in your s/b it just doesn't seem worth it. I run a straight Selsenya aggro and it does very well. I don't feel it needs the black at all. I would personally drop the {gods willing} and throw in {loxodon smiter}. Also I know it's pricey but I would consider {voice of resurgence. 16 creatures is just a little low and you could have the potential if getting overrun.

If they overload rift, since it's not targeting it's just hitting all your creatures, the protection spell won't do anything

I do already have 4 voice of resurgence in this deck. I used to use loxton smiter, I might find a way to fit him in again. Also thanks I didn't read completely on {cyclonic rift}. That's only one card I really need to watch out for. I agree I am going to take out the black. Thanks for the help

Yeah. I guess blue might be troublesome. I will definitely side {mistcutter hydra}. Other than blue decks, do you see me having a problem with any other colors?

what if you splashed some blue yourself? gainsay can stop an overloaded cyclonic rift... just a random idea. otherwise, you can just try to play around the cyclonic rifts somehow.

You can play the GW scryland when they release it in born of the gods, i believe its temple of plenty (?)

I changed it up and put {gainsay} on side. What do you think about it now?

4 blue sources, hopefully you pull one and a gainsay when you need to.

Well I actually have 8 chances for blue mana, 4 {sylvan caryatid} 2 {breeding pool} 2{hallowed fountain}. But the {gainsay} is just for monster blue cards

Also have 4 scry from  4 {gods willing}. So I should get there most of the time.

I still think it will be worth it. Just because i can replace {pithing needle} with {gainsay} to get rid of {AEtherling},So I kill 2 birds with one stone. It can also counter another monster card if I draw 2 of them. I don't see what other side cards I could replace it with that would be better. My main is really good, so I just need answers to a few cards I might come up against. Thoughts?

I like the deck idea. I usually use  {Dispel} to counter  {Cyclonic Rift} and  {Negate} to counter the  {Thoughtseize} although of course you can't do anything if your opponent begins on the play with the turn 1  {Thoughtseize}
