Now, looking at {Garruk wild speaker} purely mechanically, he has a ability that untaps lands. And ability that pumps out creatures. And an ability that pumps creatures. This card goes well in a green ramp deck as a support card.
The untap lands probably go along with the first spell he learned, which was seed sprouting.
Now, looking at this purely from a Melvin prospective, a good possibility for a plane is zenkidar. Two creatures he used when facing his fathers murderer were a wurm and a baloth. Both of which hale from zenkidar, which maches the vorthos flavor as well
However, I'm sure there are other planes with baloths and wurms, with a ramp theme, Plus, his bio says he "spent some time on zenkidar) so we need to dig a little further

After some web searching it seems baloths are native to zenkidar and Dominiria...and one person pointed out that the web comic were it showed Garruk's home world lacks the zenkidar aesthetic...
That was anti-climactic. However, whoes to say it's not a plane we haven't visited. Memnarch went to other planes collecting different creatures (contaminating them in the process with pherexian oil) but we can't say for certain that he got the loxodon from ravnica
