Title: 0/0 zubera tokens
Post by: Qpwner on December 20, 2013, 03:23:38 AM
Lets say I have 7 goblin tokens, 2 {Ember-Fist Zubera}s and 1 {Mirror Entity}. I use Mirror Entity's ability for 0. Are they zuberas in time to die? And are they dead in time to deal 20 damage to someone?

Its sorta way too elaborat, but it clears up everything that confuses me in magic.

From the ruling on {Mirror Entity}:

10/1/2007   Activating the ability with X = 0 will cause all creatures you control to become 0/0 and be put into the graveyard.

All your creatures will become 0/0 Zuberas and die as a state-based action.

To be a little clearer on an already correct response:
All your creatures will become 0/0 zuberas (sorry my spelling is atrocious).  Then, as a state based action, they will all die. After they have all died, your two spirit zuberas will put their triggers onto the stack where each will do 9 damage to target creature/player. (7+2 is 9, not10).

But {Mirror Entity} also becomes a 0/0 zubera.  And 7+2+1 does equal 10.

Sorry. I missed that mirror entity is a creature. My bad.
