Today is my birthday ^-^ hoping to go to a card shop today to pick up sleeves and a new deck box. And maybe if I'm lucky a few Theros packs.
So hey. Best magic related item you got on your birthday?(or for Christmas?)
It was actually this most recent birth day, I was at my lgs and I was just playing magic when the shop owner asked if I was gonna play some mnm I told him no because I was broke and the guy I was playing with was kool. He asked me why I was so happy I told him that it was my bday so he's like happy birthday and he hands me a pack from an old set, I open it and I look at the rare first and it's a damnation, to me it's a really good card he explodes cause that was the third one in the box, so 10min later the shop owner says hell pay for me to play, they just need one more person so I'm like ok. I place second and I get 2 packs I open them, one is a voice of resurgence and the other had a double rare, it was a steam vents plus the R/G champion, so my mom walks in shortly before I win my last match. And she buys me my birthday gift which is a fat pack of dragons maze. So on the ride home Im opening packs and on the 4 th or 5 th pack I open my second voice of resurgence. I almost cried.

Got the blue black prebuilt deck :D in the boosters have {Colossus of akros} and a foil {Stormbreath dragon} and in second pack {prophet of Kruphix}
