{Shadowborn Demon} + {Sheoldred, Whispering One}.
If I put Sheoldred's return creature from graveyard ability on the stack before Shadowborn Demon's sacrifice ability, can I use the stack in a way that lets me sacrifice and instantly resurrect a creature?
So what happens if I swap it around so that the Demon's ability resolves first?

That's what I just said...
But I get what you mean. If you return a creature, then sac it, it hits the battlefield then goes away, which isn't what you want.
Unless it's an {Ashen Rider} ;)
Xstray unfortunately no matter how you stack it you can not get the creature you just sacced back with just these two cards. The main problem is that sheoldred says target. A condition for a spell/ability to enter the stack is that the targets must be declared.
So you can order it so you sac the creature first but you have to have already selected the target even if you haven't brought it back yet.
Yeah, it sucks. The amount of creature recursion I have in my Kaalia is stupid though, so if I ever play a game that goes well for me, I shouldn't need to worry about it.
