I restored all my decks, but when I try to get into them it sends me into a different menu that gives me the option to buy or restore purchase. When I select "restore purchase", it highlights, it asks me to enter my Apple ID, but when I enter it the "restore purchase" stays highlighted and when I try to select it again, it just say store busy and nothing happens. I need help :(
Are you trying to restore your purchases from old iMtG in IMtG II?
If not, kill iMtG and try again.
Killed the app and it didn't help.
I am also having the same issue. It appears to be checking my Apple ID password twice but then doesn't appear to do anything. Old imtg is not running when doing this.
Did you buy anything in iMtG II in the first place? Apple will not transfer your purchases from old iMtG.
Well that's a tad annoying as I only just purchased v1. I was only glancing through the rest of the mtg apps when I spotted v2.
Bit dodgy having both v1 and v2 listed at the same time.
Can't justify spending the same money again for the same thing :(
All iterations of Duels of the Planeswalkers are still available concurrently. Many apps makers do it that way as it is how they pay their bills, including Piotr. This is his meal ticket and personally, I'm happy to put the burgers on his plate and beers in the stein with what this app provides. iMtG II is the way to go, you can't see an explicit different yet as all the modifications are under the hood, but it's quicker, smoother and more compatible with the future of iOS. Sooner rather than later, you'll be glad you've bought it all in iMtG II with the exclusive features coming that us beta tester have heard of. Don't doubt the man, he's the reason we don't have 6 different apps running for one game of Magic any more (damn, I hated that!)

(You can forward my cheque to my PM, Piotrπ)
Oh I don't doubt it's a good app I'm just annoyed that I have to pay for the app again because the old version wasn't removed from the store.

Oh, and it won't be so those who don't want to up grade can continue getting Database Updates and Bug Fixes. π
But with no indication on either listing that there is an alternate version is that not a little misleading? Sure it may be my fault that I didn't search the entire App Store before buying it all but a bit more info on the different versions on the App Store itself would be handy.
And that is a fair call.
I'm with Spike on this one, apart from 'all the changes are under the hood' which is not true.
Apple no longer allows changes in app descriptions without releasing new version, and iMtG had no updates since iMtG II was released a few days ago. Apple apps processing is shut down for Christmas since 21st and won't reopen until 27th, plus a good few days wait for approval, that means the planned updates to iMtG 4.6 won't be released until some time in January next year. Sorry about that.
Oh, and iMtG will stay in the App Store because it runs on iOS 6 and iMtG II doesn't.
Oh oops! But really, everything to do with coding is 'under the hood' with me!
*sees pretty colours, mashes screen*
Cheers all. Luckily I was given a late birthday gift of an iTunes voucher so all is well :)
