So I wanted to buy some transparencies from staples.com, so I picked the 50 for 16. If I were to add $4, I'd get free shipping. If not, then I have to pay $8 in shipping. So I figured I might as well get the 100 for $28. Then it gave me a random $4.someing discount. So to get free shipping I had to get $.80 more of stuff. AARG! So I found a $1 pen and added it and checked out. Then I got an email saying "wait! Just kidding. We don't have those transparencies" so now I just bought a pen I didn't want in the first place and have to buy the other ones, and some more stuff to get free shipping.
:P

On the bright side, you now have a brand new pen! I'm jealous.

Can we barter with how much magic cards are worth for pens?
Just start making storm crow pens, you know they will sell.

I actually talked with some custom lazer inlay people to see if making magic inlays would be feasible. It costs like $2000 +$40 per piece of wood for them to do that. I'm not going to spend that much.
As far as bartering with cards, I would value the cards at tcg low, and make you give me more than the monitory value of the pen. I normally only make $10 per pen. The rest goes towards materials.
you could buy half their machine for that price! it better have free shipping!
