you'll definitely want to run {g}, for {glistener elf} and {mutagenic growth}. {plague stinger} isn't bad either.

I like glistner elf but I don't need green for mutagenic. I certainly still run it.

I only need one creature.

Plague stinger is the only other creature I'm really considering but I went with plague myr because I figured speed was the only thing important in modern

I glanced at it and thought it was a control deck at first.  Lol.

For the most part it might as well be

Virulent swipes grant deathtouch and have rebound.
Livewire can spin 2 death touch infect damage not only at players but at threats on the board also.

I was.considering predators gambit or artful dodge. But hidden strings seemed like an op card after seeing what it can do to heroics and with livewire lash that's practically the same thing I'm doing here

Also I thought about {thought scour} and {surgical extraction}  but I felt that combo would be lack luster in modern vs when I used it in modern

Aqueous form is a better card yes. But artful dodge gives 2 triggers on the livewire lash. That could end a game in one shot

If I can win without attacking that is my ideal

But certainly If if need to and free opportunitys I will. I ran a nerfed version of this in standard and dI'd very well. I'm now just trying to see if it has a home in modern or if my goals are lofty. Also I put mana leak in not really sure what else i would want to use. But there are some other neat counterspells out there

{distortion strike}, {prey's vengeance}, {emerge unscathed}

I feel cheap rebound can be very powerful here.

you'll definitely want to run {G}, for {glistener elf} and {mutagenic growth}. {plague stinger} isn't bad either.
Caps ;)

{Glistener Elf} is definitely a must. Getting a turn two kill has got to feel oh-so-good :)

But blue has all the set up and the only unblockable infect

I like BUG Infect but I only splash {U} for {Distortion Spike} and {Blighted Agent} in mainboard and {Dispel} in the Sideboard. I usually kill turn 2 or 3. Especially because of {Might of Old Krosa} and {Mutagenic Growth}.

{apostle's blessing} fixes that

{Shimmering Wings} not so much, but {Gigadrowse} looks like a good way to get 2 innfect counters on someone for every {U} you pay. Maybe not the quickest, but you can always be unoriginal and cast it on your oponent's creatures as well.

And you can {remand} your own spell! to draw a card and trigger it's ability twice!

Because the spell still targeted.
And with the myr and hidden strings I could cheese extra mana if I needed to

Those are sick suggestions

absolutely terrible idea mode: what if we played UR infect storm?

keep the blighted agents, and plague myr, remands, and what not. Fill the rest with rituals, pif, and so on, and {ground rift} and/or {grapeshot}, and target the lash-equipped creature with 5 copies of either for 10 infect damage.

Everything is worth a test!
